Superformance MKIII Roadster. The roadster version of the MKIII is unique because it has the same power to weight ratio but minus the roll bar, hood scoop, stripes and side pipes giving it a timeless sportscar look. This roadster has chambered exhausts that exit in front of the rear wheels, I also have the full length stainless exhaust that exits at the rear and is included in the sale. This MKIII Roadster is a licensed Shelby product completely built at the Superformance assembly plant in South Africa and is number SPO3333, it was special ordered with a striking red leather interior that sets of the black clear coat on the iconic body. After taking delivery of this roadster I commissioned Roush Performance Engineering in Livonia Michigan to build a 427 SR engine that includes CNC ported Roush aluminum heads, Ceramic coated headers, 4340 Forged Crank, 4340 Forged H Beam Rods, Forged Pistons, 770 CFM Holley Carb, and a Shelby Road Race Front Sump Oil Pan. The engine was machined, balanced, assembled and dyno tested at 528 HP and 535 ft/lb of torque at the Roush Labs in Livonia and they allowed me to be there during the dyno testing. The engine is mated to a TKO 600 5 speed transmission that is connected to a Quicktime bell housing. This beautiful black MKIII roadster comes with a Soft Top, Side Curtains, Tonneau, Polished Surge Tank and Oil Cooler. The paint is flawless, the car runs, steers, and stops great, not to mention the face stretching acceleration that 528 HP will do. I have all documents, the car has 875 miles and is titled as a 1965. This roadster purchased from Superformance without engine and drivetrain would cost $88,000, engine and drivetrain would be another $30,000 installed, the Roush 427 would be more.
