This 1949 Packard Deluxe 8 Club Sedan (Fastback) model 2265 is a beautiful car, restored in it’s original color combination “NC”, a 2 tone scheme with colors Egyptian Sand and Sylvan Green metallic. It’s nicely equipped with the powerful 288 cubic inch straight eight with 135 Horsepower, 2 barrel downdraft Carter Carburetor, factory overdrive, radio and heater, and 4-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. It is powerful and sure, with easy cruising speed at 70 MPH in overdrive.
The fastback club sedan styling is very sleek, Packard’s first new design after the war. The 2 door Club sedan is much more rare than the 4-door sedan.
The Chrome is in excellent condition, the tires are 15” Coker Classic whitewalls, the hubcaps are the full wheel cover with trim ring.
The interior is beautiful, with excellent woodgraining on the dash and window surrounds, and excellent seats, headliner and carpeting. The Glass is all excellent.
