IINTRODUCTION: A classy hot rod! It was frame off restored with a very tasteful customization. Only 6,000 miles since completed. The owner hated to see it go but health issues force the sale.

EXTERIOR: The body is very clean and straight, no rust or damage. The doors click shut and everything lines up nicely. It has a beautiful two-tone paint job using Kindigit paint at $1,000 a gallon. The metallic is laid out nicely and the clear coat is very glossy. It has a few minor imperfections. The chrome and trim has been restored or replaced. New windshield and smoked side glass. The vent window was deleted for a cleaner 1 piece window. It has LED taillights

And a 3rd brake light in the window. It's rolling on 17 inch aluminum wheels with spinners.

INTERIOR: It's a full custom interior with bucket seats in front and a wrap around seat in back, both have great looking custom upholstery. The headliner and door panels were reupholstered too. Clean beige carpet down on the floor and a custom center console with a Bluetooth JBL stereo, USB port and 12 volt receptacle. The custom rear shelf is home to the 6x9 speakers. A Painless wiring system was used throughout. The metal trim has been painted glossy. It has Dakota Digital and Vintage Air heater controls. The tilt column has a sharp looking custom steering wheel.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: That is a Corvette LS2 6.2 Liter engine making 400hp and 400 lbs of torque! It has a set of headers wrapped in insulation, the intake tube is polished and it has a serpentine belt system. It also features modern power steering and a chromed power brake booster and master cylinder. It runs cool with an aluminum BeCool radiator, overflow bottle and dual electric fans. The engine bay is clutter free and painted beautifully. The hinges are new.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is fully boxed and upholstered with a carpeted floor. Under the lid is even upholstered and the battery is relocated behind one of the panels.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame for restoration! The steering and suspension was completely rebuilt. It was upgraded with rack & pinion steering, coilover adjustable gas shocks in front and air shocks in back. The fuel system was replaced including the tank. The brakes were upgraded with disc at all four wheels and a custom e-brake. It has a nice fat dual exhaust with X-Pipe and stainless mufflers. Looking up at the motor it is as a Holley aluminum oil pan and a high torque starter. Upgraded with a 4L60E overdrive automatic transmission and a remote trans cooler. A rebuilt driveshaft goes back to the 10 bolt rear end with 3.55 gears. The floors and frame appear to be clean, smooth metal painted semi gloss black.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: The 55 and 57 Chevys make great hot rods and remain popular through the generations. This one is a great example!

For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide is my professional opinion based on my experience with these vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
