Here is a 1966 Chevrolet Nova Chevy II Restomod that looks
absolutely gorgeous in its Nassau Blue paint job. The 17-inch
wheels, gleaming chrome bumpers, and incredible stance put this car
in a class of its own. All of the trim and badges are in great
shape, as is the front grille, complementing the cowl induction
hood beautifully. To enhance the character of this Nova, tinted
windows have been added, giving the car an even sleeker and cooler
appearance. A car like this doesn't go unnoticed-expect plenty of
thumbs-ups from car enthusiasts!
The interior is super clean and custom. The front seats are newly
styled leather power Camaro bucket seats. The door panels, carpet,
and headliner are all in excellent condition. A custom steering
wheel sits in front of a set of Dakota gauges. The dash pad is
black, while the rest of the dashboard is painted blue to match the
exterior. For audio entertainment, this Nova is equipped with an
Alpine head unit featuring AM/FM/CD/AUX and Bluetooth capabilities.
Below that, climate control is handled by Vintage Air. To the right
of the climate control is a Pedal Commander Controller for
adjusting throttle response, and to the left of the climate
controls sits a backup camera. The center console looks great with
the Lokar shifter, shiny inlay, and a cup holder.
Under the hood, the engine bay is exceptionally clean, featuring
frame supports and sound-deadening material. It boasts numerous
billet and chrome pieces, including a Wilwood brake master
cylinder, alternator, hood hinges, air conditioning compressor,
overflow water reservoir, and aluminum radiator. The engine itself
is a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 with 0821 heads, believed to have fewer than
100 miles since installation. The 4L65E 4-speed automatic
transmission shares the same mileage and sends power to a 9-inch
rear end with a 3.73 gear ratio.
The front suspension features tubular A-arms, adjustable coilovers,
and a sway bar, while the rear relies on a 4-link suspension with
adjustable coilovers, all connected together with subframe
connectors. The undercarriage is further enhanced by extensive use
of Kilmat sound deadening material. At each corner, the restomod
rides on 17-inch Rocket wheels wrapped in Nitto tires: 215/45R17 up
front and 235/40ZR17 in the rear. The braking system uses a Wilwood
master cylinder that powers disc brakes with Wilwood calipers. For
a performance sound, this Nova is equipped with shorty headers, a
dual exhaust with an X-pipe, and Thrush mufflers.
