This 1957 Chevrolet 3100 stepside pickup was repainted in red and
the pickup bed was refurbished with wood slats and polished runners
during a refurbishment commissioned under prior ownership. It is
powered by a 350ci V8 linked with a four-speed automatic
transmission, and the truck rides on chrome 17? US Mags wheels that
were mounted in preparation for the sale. The cab features a tilt
steering wheel and later-model bucket seats, and the truck is
further equipped with chrome bumpers, side vent windows, front
helper air springs, MagnaFlow mufflers, an aluminum radiator, and
power-assisted steering and front disc brakes. This Task Force
pickup was acquired by the current owner in 2024 and is now offered
on dealer consignment in Oklahoma with a set of 15? Rally-style
wheels and tires as well as a clean Iowa title listing the truck as
a 1957 model.
The truck is finished in red and features a wrap-around windshield,
a stepside bed, side vent windows, and aftermarket taillights. The
front emblem and windshield wipers have been removed, and close-up
photos of the finish, trim, and imperfections are provided in the
gallery.
The pickup bed was refurbished with stained wood slats, polished
runners, and a billet-style fuel cap.
The chrome US Mags 17? wheels are mounted with Ironman iMove Gen 3
tires, and the selling dealer tells us the wheel and tire package
was installed in preparation for the sale. Stopping power is
provided by four-wheel drum brakes. The front coil springs are
fitted with helper air springs, and the truck is equipped with
power-assisted steering and front disc brakes.
The cab was refreshed with replacement carpets and later-model
bucket seats trimmed in gray cloth, and red pinstriping adorns the
dashboard and glovebox door. Details include a power-adjustable
driver's seat, a heater and defroster, and an aftermarket
headliner.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits on a tilting column and fronts
a 100-mph speedometer and factory instrumentation, and aftermarket
readouts for coolant temperature, amperage, oil pressure, and fuel
level are mounted below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer
shows 57k miles.
The 350ci V8 was installed under prior ownership, and it is
equipped with an electric water pump and cooling fan as well as an
aluminum radiator and intake manifold.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic
transmission and a 10-bolt rear axle. Cast manifolds link to a dual
exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers. An auxiliary fluid cooler
with an electric fan is mounted to the underbody.
A set of 15? Rally-style wheels with chrome covers and Mastercraft
tires are included in the sale.
