Description:
This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a 427ci L72
V8 that was enlarged to 469ci during a rebuild around 2015. The
engine is topped with a Holley-based Pro Systems racing carburetor
and has Stahl headers feeding into side-exit exhaust pipes. The car
was also refinished in blue around the time of the engine rebuild,
and additional equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission,
a Positraction differential, a white convertible soft top, 15?
Turbine-style aluminum wheels, power-assisted four-wheel disc
brakes, power steering, and retractable headlights.
Interior:
The cabin is trimmed in blue with two bucket seats reupholstered
under previous ownership in white vinyl. Amenities include a
heater, an analog clock, an AM/FM radio, and lap belts. The
woodgrain steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer
with a 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level,
amperage, oil pressure, and water temperature.
Exterior:
The fiberglass body was finished at the factory in Nassau Blue
(976) and was refinished around 2015. A white center stripe was
added, and features include a white convertible soft top, a domed
hood, flip-up headlights, chrome bumpers, fender vents, a
driver-side mirror, a retractable antenna, and side-exit exhaust
with heat shields. The 15? Turbine-style aluminum wheels feature
knock-off spinners and are mounted with 205/75 Coker Classic tires.
The car is equipped with power steering and power-assisted
four-wheel disc brakes.
Drivetrain:
The 427ci L72 V8 was rebuilt by Mike Fig Racing around 2015 with a
4.320? bore, a 4.000? stroke, and a 10.0:1 compression ratio.

and a Positraction differential.
