This custom 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Resto-Mod is powered by a
hand-built Mast Motorsports Black Label LS7 engine topped with a
Whipple supercharger, producing an estimated 900hp at the crank and
740hp to the wheels. The engine, with approximately 4,800 miles
since completion, is kept cool with an oversized Wizard radiator
and dual 3,800-cfm electric fans. Fuel delivery is handled by a
Rick's 20-gallon stainless tank with twin 340 EFI pumps, routed
through all-new PTFE fuel lines and fittings. Backing the
powerplant is a RAM Power grip HD triple-disc clutch paired with a
new Tremec TKX 5-speed manual transmission and Hurst shifter. Power
flows through a balanced driveshaft to a new 9-inch Panhard rear
end with a Heidts Pro-G 4-link setup. The suspension incorporates
adjustable Heidts Coilovers and Pro-Touring tubular control arms up
front. Stopping power comes from a complete CPP brake system with
HydraStop hydraulic assist. The car rides on black Billet
Specialties wheels, with Detroit Speed mini-tubs accommodating
massive 335/30ZR18 BFGoodrich g-Force Rival rear tires. The
exterior is refinished in striking orange, complemented by a custom
hood, chin spoiler and rear deck spoiler. Inside, the cabin was
fully redone, with the interior lined in Boom Mat soundproofing
before installation. Factory-style high-back seats are wrapped in
black leather with orange Serafil stitching, and the trunk is
fitted with an Optima Yellow Top battery and kill switch. Amenities
include Dakota Digital gauges with supplemental Autometer and
Whipple gauges, Vintage Air climate control and an Alpine
AM/FM/CD/Aux/Bluetooth stereo system. ** PREVIEW
