GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this LS engine-swapped, 1967
Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible resto-mod for your consideration.
Finished in a striking Kona Blue over a Black interior, this
Cutlass is powered by a LS 6.0L V8 (L76) rated at 405 horsepower on
a dyno, paired with a 6L80 automatic transmission, geared to a
stout 12-bolt posi rear end. The powertrain was sourced from a 2009
Pontiac G8 GT and enhanced with a Texas Speed Stage 2 camshaft and
a Circle D 2600 stall lockup torque converter. Suspension and
handling have been upgraded with Hotchkis 2-inch lowering springs,
UMI rear trailing arms, upgraded front and rear sway bars, and
Unisteer rack and pinion steering. Stopping power comes courtesy of
CPP C5 Corvette front brakes with 13-inch rotors and twin-piston
calipers, along with rear disc brakes. The interior has been
tastefully modernized with components from a 2005 Pontiac GTO,
including the seats and door panels, with the center console
sourced from a G8 GT. Additional features include power windows, a
power convertible top, and the original undercoating from new. This
Cutlass recently completed the full Route 66 rally last fall-over
7,000 miles-with zero issues, and has 10,384 miles since the build
was completed in 2015. This Cutlass is a true show stopper. Drive
this one out of our showroom or have us assist with shipping it to
you anywhere in the United States! Don't hesitate to call us with
any questions or for more information.
The 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass was part of the second generation of
the model and represented a shift toward more refined performance
and comfort. Known for its elegant styling and solid engineering,
the '67 Cutlass was available in a variety of body styles including
hardtops, coupes, and convertibles. While many came equipped with
V8 power, today's custom builds like this one take the platform to
a new level, blending classic lines with modern performance and
reliability. The Cutlass remains a favorite among enthusiasts who
appreciate Oldsmobile's unique combination of luxury and
muscle.
