In 1932 Ford revealed a whole new line-up of vehicles. The model B was offered in 7 different body styles and only ran for 3 model years with 1934 being the last. This particular example is a 2-door roadster also referred to as a Highboy. It was produced by TRC Auto who’s mold stretched it 2” and it is finished a gorgeous dark red metallic paint. It has an original 1932 front axle, rear bumper (gas tank) and frame rails. It is now equipped with a Ford 9” posi rear end, coil over shocks and traction bars on the rear end and the front end has a reversed axle, torsion bars, stabilizer bars, chrome shocks and power disc brakes. You will also find a fuel cell and the battery in the trunk with a disconnect under the dash. The heart of this sweet street rod is a 350ci crate engine rated at 350hp that is fed via an Edelbrock 4bbl 750cfm carb with electric choke and an Edelbrock Performer intake. Spark is handled with an electronic ignition, it has ceramic coated shorty headers and it sounds awesome ripping through its 2.5” stainless steel dual exhaust. It is very nicely dressed up with chrome valve covers, a chrome water pump, a chrome radiator overflow and a chrome alternator. It also has billet aluminum pulleys, spark plug wire guides and alternator brackets. Power is put to the 9” rear end via a 700R4 tranny that is shifted by a Speedway shifter and is equipped with a B&M converter lock-up. It has a full leather interior with 6-way power seats that is cream in color and looks amazing. It is equipped with VDO gauges, tilt steering and blinkers. It has a gorgeous 1932 grill with chrome trim and Ford logos, the chrome headlights have blinkers built in, it has a gorgeous chrome windshield that tilts and holds the chrome mirrors as well as the sweet chrome auxiliary lights. It is finished with a gorgeous set of American Racing Torque Thrust Ds wrapped in staggered BF Goodrich Radial T.A.’s that pull the whole look together. It is titled as a 1992 Ford with a 17-digit VIN. Close to $50,000 was spent to build this sweet Highboy and it only has 249 miles on it.
