2002 Pontiac Collector Edition "Daytona 500 Pace Car" (Driven by Jay Leno) in Lincoln, NE

Stock Number: 2110 - This is the real Pace Car driven by Jay Leno at the 2002 Daytona 500 Race. It has 9,329 carefully driven actual Miles on the odometer. 7,987 of those miles were put on by Pontiac Motor Division before the car was sold to the public. Only 23 miles have been put on under its current stewardship. This authentic Daytona 2002 Pontiac Trans Am Pace Car was signed by Jay Leno at the race. Tony Stewart also signed the car. All decals and signatures are still intact from the race. All books and documents show authenticity. Jim Mattison, of Pontiac Historical Services, was present during this promotion and witnessed Jay Leno and Tony Stewart signing the air box. This is car #1 of two cars at the track used for Pace Car duty. For the majority of its 23 years, it has been stored in climate-controlled museums and private collections.

Only 2,390 - 2002 Pontiac Trans Am Collector's Editions were produced, finished in striking Sunfire Yellow over an Ebony leather interior. It is powered by a 325-hp 5.7-liter V8 featuring Ram Air induction, paired with an automatic overdrive transmission. Additional options include the WS6 performance suspension package, a limited-slip differential, and traction control. It rides on one year only 17" alloy wheels finished in Black. It still has its original Goodyear F1 tires. The removable T-Top roof panels are in as-new condition, and the original storage bag is included.

The interior offers leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and embroidered Firebird logos on the headrests. There were also amenities like a power-adjustable driver's seat, remote keyless entry, air conditioning, and cruise control. You will also find a premium Monsoon sound system with a factory in-dash CD player, making this ultra-low-mileage Collector's Edition a rare and exciting find.
