This is a one-owner 1998 Chevrolet S10 LS3 Restomod that has been
meticulously overhauled to the consignor's vision. The gray paint
job is fantastic and rich, with super solid panels all around.
Underneath, the chassis and frame look exceptionally clean. Bold
20-inch wheels sit perfectly under the S10, giving it an aggressive
stance. The front end is completely color-matched and looks
stunning, while the rear features a color-matched bumper seamlessly
blended into the quarter panels-an interesting and unique
customization. With tinted windows and a cowl induction hood, you'd
be hard-pressed to find anything negative to say about this truck's
appearance.
The interior continues the custom theme with two-tone gray bucket
seats, clean door panels, and a center console setup that houses an
Outlaw-X TCI ratchet shifter. The aftermarket quick-release
steering wheel is in good shape, and the gauge cluster features
Dakota aftermarket gauges that light up neon blue. Adding to this
setup is a pillar-mounted AutoMeter gauge to monitor the engine's
fuel and air mixture. Next to the TCI shifter is another monitored
gauge cluster from TerminatorX, offering multiple functions to keep
tabs on the engine. Above the climate controls sits a Sony head
unit with AM/FM/CD/Satellite radio and Bluetooth capabilities. The
bed looks virtually unused and is topped with a bed cover.
Under the hood, it's clear that a lot of time and effort went into
creating this masterpiece. Power comes from an LS3 6.2-liter V8
with electronic fuel injection managed by a Holley TerminatorX
system. Highlights include a cold-air induction setup, an C8
Corvette engine cover painted to match the truck, a blacked-out
Powermaster alternator, and a Wilwood master cylinder. Power is
delivered through a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission to a
10-bolt rear axle with a Trick Flow differential cover.
The suspension setup includes front Global West tubular control
arms with QA1 coilovers and a sway bar, and leaf springs with QA1
shocks in the rear. The truck rides on 20-inch Boss wheels wrapped
in 255/35ZR20 front tires and 295/30ZR20 rear tires. Stopping power
comes from a Wilwood brake system with C5 front disc brakes and
Wilwood rear discs. Headman long-tube headers flow through a 3-inch
dual exhaust with an X-pipe and Borla mufflers, giving this S10
both the performance and the soundtrack to match.
