Description CFeaturing some really nice modifications that add to
its already considerable boulevard credibility, this 1965 Chevrolet
C10 is one sharp vintage pickup truck. The matte black paint draped
over its exterior pairs with a glossy red roof to create a result
that commands attention and this Chevy's shortbed configuration
adds to its robust appearance. Its stance strikes a great balance,
leaving it with an aggressive appearance without taking away too
much ground clearance. The added Cragar SS wheels are perfect in
this setting, wrapped with BF Goodrich radials. In the back, a wood
plank bed is a strong finishing detail.
The interior features a largely vintage look, with a well-chosen
selection of aftermarket add-ons to increase both functionality and
aesthetics. The black vinyl bench seat was recently recovered and
it sits above an expanse of black carpet in matching condition.
Climb in and take hold of the wood grip steering wheel sitting on
its tilt column and you'll see a set of Dolphin gauges set inside a
billet instrument cluster just in front. At the center of the dash,
which has been painted to match this Chevy's distinctive roof,
there's a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo with both a USB port and
Bluetooth connectivity, as well as an aftermarket air conditioning
system that runs in top form to keep things nice and cool inside
the cabin.
This classic truck is ready to hit the road as soon as you bring it
home. There's a 350 cubic-inch V8 lurking beneath its hood that's
running strong and sounding great as it exhales into a pair of
Hooker long tube headers leading out to Flowmaster mufflers. The
engine pairs with an added 700R4 transmission that features an
overdrive gear, so there's no need to worry about too much revving
at highway speeds. An electric fan sits up front to keep operating
temperature in check during more challenging driving conditions.
Power steering makes this vintage pickup easy to navigate, while an
added rear sway bar minimizes body roll during cornering. Power
brakes, with discs up front, make for low-effort, fade-resistant
stops.
