This is a 1969 Mercury Cougar standard convertible with substantial upgrades. It is a factory air car though the original compressor does not work. The engine is a 351 Windsor modified with a single plane manifold and a Holley Terminator EFI system (professionally installed). Power steering, 4 wheel disk brakes and enhanced brake booster, Montycarlo bar, Global West undercarriage suspension system, stainless fuel tank, high-pressure fuel pump, staggered 17 wheels up front and 18" in back with Continental Extreme Contact tires, limited slip differential upgrade, new window rubber, new radiator, new engine mounts.
Convertible top functions as expected. Lights and blinkers work as properly. Bluetooth radio and updated speakers. Full size spare tire with original cover and trunk interior liner (not shown). Original valve covers, FMX reared, and carburetor part of sale.
This is a sharp resto-mod car which is reliable, and fun to drive. I have the original book and over $30,000 of receipts for professional work over the past four years. Undercarriage had new torkboxes installed by KTL Restorations in Danville, Virginia along with other undercarriage fixes in 2000.
