Here we have a 1970 Chevrolet C10 Stepside short-bed pickup that
presents itself very well. The white exterior paint is smooth,
glossy, and free of any major flaws. The blue pinstriping pairs
nicely with the blue-painted wheels, which feature chrome-plated
center caps and beauty rings. The blue-painted "CHEVROLET" letters
on the tailgate look great and go smoothly with the cool rear
custom bumper and the aftermarket LED lighting. The hood, fenders,
doors, quarter panels, and roof all appear to be straight. The
front bumper and grille are solid, and the wooden truck bed brings
extra personality, capping off what is one remarkable-looking
truck.
The blue exterior trim colors carry over to the inside. The door
panels are unique, featuring brown rectangular inlays. Blue vinyl
and cloth bench seats keep the blue theme alive. A white-painted
dashboard is in good shape and complements the interior nicely. The
gauge cluster hosts stock-appearing gauges, while off to the right
are the controls for heat, defrost, and A/C. Above that sits the AM
radio controls. The carpet, headliner, windows, and weather
stripping are all in good shape, and the door jambs are very
clean.
The engine bay is outstanding, with a painted white firewall and
wheel wells. The engine itself is finished mostly in black. Power
comes from a 402 cubic-inch V8 engine topped with a Speedmaster
intake and a Holley Sniper Fuel Injection System, which can be
controlled inside the cabin via a digital Holley Sniper Controller.
For the drivetrain, you have a 4L80E four-speed automatic
transmission paired with a 12-bolt solid rear axle. Up front,
there's an independent suspension with control arms and coil
springs, while the rear features trailing arms, a panhard bar,
shocks, and a sway bar. Fifteen-inch wheels sit at all four
corners, wrapped in 275/60R15 tires with a 2021 date code. Stopping
power comes from power front disc brakes and rear drum brakes.
Exhaust gases exit through stock-style manifolds, feeding dual
exhaust pipes with aftermarket mufflers.
