1947 Plymouth P15 Special Deluxe Business Coupe – Restored & Modified, Clean Florida Title
This 1947 Plymouth P15 Special Deluxe business coupe has been tastefully modified and restored, making it a standout classic with modern upgrades. The car was repainted in Tuxedo Black prior to 2020 and fitted with a chopped roofline. Inside, the cabin was reupholstered in two-tone cloth, blending vintage style with refreshed comfort. There is no odometer and the total mileage is unknown.
Power comes from a 217.8ci L-head inline-six paired with dual carburetors on an Offenhauser intake manifold, headers, and a Lokar throttle cable. A four-speed 700R4 automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels. Recent work includes a full restoration completed in July 2025 with brand-new suspension, fresh gaskets, an added A/C system, and a premium sound system. The oil has been changed in preparation for sale.
This coupe rides on a lowered suspension with 15” wheels wearing smoothie covers. Braking is handled by drums, and it retains its classic two-piece windshield. Additional features include a three-spoke steering wheel with a chrome horn ring and Plymouth-branded center cap, a custom-painted oil filter housing, and a 100-mph speedometer flanked by gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level.
