1971 Jaguar XKE roadster, last of the highly refined Jaguar six cylinders, in fabulous British Racing Green with Biscuit leather interior (the most desirable color combination). The 1971 Jaguars are considered to be the most refined six cylinder Jaguars as they are the last in Series II before the Series III V12’s. They are known to be very powerful with a smooth clutch and a very slick 4-speed transmission and what a blast to drive.
This XKE has had the same ownership for the last 10 years and the ownership is the second ownership since new. This is a car that has been highly maintained.
The car has a new leather interior, new canvas top and a Tonneau cover. The repaint was done in the same factory British Racing Green.
Wonderful for long, high speed touring and also ready for local car shows and it always draws a crowd. Of course the British Racing Green with Biscuit interior seems to be everybody’s favorite colorscheme for an XKE.
It is absolutely amazing that a car that was designed long before the turn of the century is still embraced today as one of the finest designed sports cars ever.
The engine was completely rebuilt and overhauled some years ago and is running just as it should with an exhaust note that is just music to the ears.
As mentioned previously this is not an XKE that has been kicked around by a lot of different owners but it is in the possession of the second owner. The radio is never used so it is not known if it is fully functioning. No a/c.

1971 Jaguar XKE also comes with the largest Jaguar six cylinder displacement engine with 4.2 liters and the last of the six cylinders are considered to be more desirable and much more iconic than the V12’s that followed. That is the reason that the six cylinders, generally speaking will command much better prices than the V12’s.
