BODY OVERVIEW: This C10 may be an older restoration, but it was
done very nicely and looks fantastic. The body is straight, and
shows nicely! All exterior trim appears to be present and in good
condition. Because this truck has had some miles clocked since the
resto, there are some minor imperfections as one would expect, but
nothing that detracts from the curb appeal. PAINT CONDITION
OVERVIEW: This C10 was fully repainted during the restoration, and
based on pre-restoration photos it appears the color was changed
from its original turquoise to the current shade of light blue.
Though it isn't a fancy metallic or flake paint job, it does appear
to be a period-correct shade of blue and has an excellent gloss
throughout. More importantly, based on documentation, this truck
was taken apart and painted properly. Imperfections have been
documented in the photos to the best of our ability. INTERIOR
CONDITION OVERVIEW: The black cloth interior is a great contrast to
the blue paint, and although it isn't factory correct it is
tasteful and does suit the style of the truck well. There is some
minor wear on the driver's side of the bench, but this is a truck
that has been driven and enjoyed since it was restored-not parked
inside for looks only! There aren't a lot of creature comforts in
this C10; this thing is from an era when a truck was a truck and
not a glorified minivan. Nonetheless, the gauge cluster is in great
condition and an original AM radio proudly holds its place in an
uncut dash. Though there are no power windows, heated seats, or
cruise control, this C10 is sure to take you back to the '60s every
time you go for a ride. MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Though an era-correct
283ci V8 is included with the sale, receipts show the purchase of
an LT block that was installed during the restoration. This is
where this truck gets really exciting! Engine features include a
chrome air cleaner, polished valve covers, aluminum radiator,
electric fans, aluminum intake, and a 4-barrel carburetor. This
certainly isn't a 500+ horsepower sleeper build, but with the hood
closed this C10 is hiding some secrets! This truck runs great and
sounds awesome (dare I say rowdy?) through dual side-exit exhaust.
If you have a hankering to jam some gears with your foot down on a
3-on-the-tree, this C10 will certainly deliver! WHAT YOU'LL LOVE
