There's just so much to like about this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS
Restomod Tribute that it's hard to know where to start. It features
an absolutely killer exterior, draped in high-impact red paint
that's perfectly accented by sharp white stripes and Super Sport
badging on its front grille, fenders, and rear deck lid. Up front,
louvres at both ends of the grille indicate that a pair of Rally
Sport headlights are on board, and there's a pair of fog lights
just below to help light the way ahead. A front chin spoiler and
cowl hood add to its tastefully aggressive appearance. From end to
end, this Chevy classic looks great and is precisely configured,
giving it outstanding curb appeal that will draw admiring glances
wherever it may roam.
Inside, you'll find an interior that shows very nicely, featuring a
pair of Procar-style bucket seats up front and a bench seat in back
covered in fresh black vinyl. Between the bucket seats, there's a
set of Autometer gauges in a carbon-fiber look console that are all
in good operating condition, while just above them, a retro style
AM/FM stereo with an auxiliary port stands by to take your
requests. The stereo teams with a pair of Infinity speakers that
have been seamlessly mounted in an enclosure behind the rear seats.
An aftermarket steering wheel is perched on the tilt column, ready
to navigate this iconic Chevy on its travels.
Beneath the cowl hood, there's a 350 cubic-inch V8 that sits in an
ultra-clean compartment. Equipped with a 4-barrel Quick Fuel
carburetor and aluminum heads, it's surrounded by a whole host of
chrome components that really pop against the black backdrop of the
firewall and inner fenders. The engine runs great and teams with a
TH200-4R transmission that's renowned for its rock-solid internal
components and features an overdrive gear for low-effort highway
cruising. An electric fan teams with an aluminum radiator to keep
temperatures under control in more demanding conditions, while the
addition of Detroit Speed tubular upper control arms and rear sway
bar provide upgraded agility. The power brakes include discs in
front with drilled and slotted rotors for excellent heat
dispersion.
