For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Liberty Lake, Washington

Vehicle Description

The time has come to say goodbye to our first car. Purchased new by us in April 1969 to be driven on our honeymoon, it became our daily driver. After over 20 years, the vehicle was garaged while we considered what to do with it. In the early 2000s, since the Camaro had always been garaged, never been in an accident or had any damage whatsoever, we decided the time had come to either restore it to its original condition or to create something entirely different. Two years later the car you see now was created by D&P Classic Chevy in Huntington Beach, California sporting a new crate motor, five speed transmission, suspension, tires, rims, custom interior, paint, racing brakes, and a host of other features.

Engine – GM 385 Fast Burn Crate Motor (balanced and blueprinted), GM Hot Cam, Holley 750 carburetor, HEI ignition, Hooker Super Comp headers, custom fan shroud and polished aluminum Griffin radiator, intake manifold, heads, water pump & valve covers.

Drivetrain – Richmond five-speed with Centerforce clutch, GM 12-bolt “posi” rear end with 3:08 gear ration.

Suspension – Front features 2-inch drop spindles with Global West springs & sway bar, Bilstein shocks and 13.5-inch Bear Racing disc brakes while the rear features 1 ½ inch drop Global West springs & sway bar, Bilstein shocks and 13-inch Bear Racing disc brakes.

Tires & Wheels – Front has Budnik Cobalt 18x7” with Goodyear Eagles 225/45 and the rear Budnik Cobalt 18x8” with Goodyear Eagles 275/40.
