1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO RS/SS 396 X22, HUGGER ORANGE, 12-BOLT REAR
This is one awesome Camaro RS/SS 396. The body is straight down
both sides. It has been repainted in its original color, code 72
Hugger Orange. The paint has a very smooth glossy finish. The white
SS hockey stick style stripes were correctly applied. The blacked
out tail panel is correct for a big block car. All of the chrome,
trim and emblems are either new or polished like new. The
headlights have been converted to electric and open and close as
they should and the back up lights work as well. It sits on a set
of 15x7 Chevy Rally wheels with a new set of 235/60/15 new BFG T/A
radial tires. The engine compartment is very nicely detailed and
has a completely rebuilt period-correct 396 ci motor with suffix
code JF, casting # 39552723. It has a few desirable performance
upgrades. It is dressed up with a Winters aluminum intake manifold
with a dual feed Holley carb and correct fuel line, a set of square
port heads, factory chrome valve covers, stock exhaust manifolds,
correct cowl induction air cleaner, correct GM hoses, tower clamps
and factory spring type battery cables. It also features power
steering and power front disc brakes, fan shroud with correct
clutch fan, horns and a neatly run wiring harness. Everything looks
proper and neat. The undercarriage is very clean metal. The entire
front end has been rebuilt including the suspension and steering.
All new bushings including body bushings and new springs. Looking
up at the motor, it is clean as well as the Muncie 4 speed manual
transmission. It sports its correct 12-bolt posi rear end with 3:73
gears. It has all new brake and fuel lines, new gas tank, straps
and sending unit. It has a dual exhaust system with an H pipe,
Flowmaster mufflers and correct tail pipes. The E-brake assembly is
complete and working. The undercarriage is painted nicely and has a
black satin finish. No undercoating, all clean metal. The white
interior really pops up against the Hugger Orange exterior. The
seats are in nice condition. The dash is clean and features a
correct SS steering wheel, factory tachometer, fuel gauge and
speedometer. In between the bucket seats is a correct round bar
Hurst shifter coming up out of the floor with correct retainer and
shift boot. It also has the optional Rosewood dash. The door
panels, armrest bases, window cranks and door handles are in good
shape as well. All the interior lights work as they should. The
trunk compartment is all clean metal and appears to be original. It
has a light coat of spatter paint. The trunk also features new
weather stripping, spare tire and jack assembly. This is a very
desirable car and very fun to drive! *Please contact us for the
