This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad custom wagon is powered by a GM
crate 350/350hp high-performance V8 engine paired to a 4-speed
700R4 automatic transmission. This frame-off-restored example
features a custom aluminum driveshaft mated to a Currie 9-inch rear
axle, 4-barrel carburetor, Sanderson custom headers and dual
exhaust. Cooling is managed by a custom aluminum Mattson's radiator
with dual electric fans. The exterior is finished in red with a
Shoreline Beige roof, complemented by custom smoothed bumpers. The
interior is upholstered in custom beige Italian leather with red
and chrome accents. Features include Dakota Digital gauges and
clock, Vintage Air climate control, a custom Autosound stereo with
Bluetooth, a chrome tilt steering column with custom aluminum
leather-wrapped wheel, and an adjustable bench seat with extended
travel. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with
an E-Stopp electronic parking brake system. Suspension includes
Classic Performance Parts tubular front control arms, King
adjustable coilovers and an aftermarket power steering system. This
Nomad rides on Boyd Coddington custom aluminum wheels (10-inch wide
in the rear and 8-inch in the front) wrapped in BFGoodrich G-Force
Sport tires. All hardware is stainless steel where possible. This
five-year build was completed in March 2025. The car has been
