Check out this chopped and channeled 1935 Ford Deluxe Custom Panel.
It's in great shape and ready for some street rod cruising. The
Dark Blue Metallic paint job screams custom. The steel wheels are
painted in an era-correct cream color that pairs nicely with the
matching front grille, the exposed engine block, and the air
cleaner covers. There isn't much chrome trim, but what's there is
placed just right for a perfect color break-up.
The interior carries on the exterior's excellence. The tan and
brown vinyl-and-tweed seats match the door panels and complement
the elegant wood floor panels. Underneath those panels lay tough
Rhino-lined flooring, making upkeep easy. The dashboard and door
panels continue the deep blue metallic look from the outside and
appear almost brand new. Old-school gauges with cream-colored
backgrounds look very vintage and fit the whole vibe of the Ford
perfectly. The rooftop is vinyl, which should help prevent liner
sag. For tunes, you have a Kenwood AM/FM radio-though you may not
hear it over the open header exhaust
The exposed engine is a Hemi V8 with dual Demon 4-barrel
carburetors and a polished aluminum intake. An MSD distributor,
chrome alternator, water pump, oil pan, and a set of Patriot
Headers are added upgrades for appearance and performance. Power is
delivered through a Tremec 3340 5-speed manual transmission, making
this a fun vehicle to drive. The front suspension uses Bilstein
shocks, while the rear uses leaf springs, shocks, and a stabilizer
bar. Dual Wilwood master cylinders control the drum brakes on all
four corners. 16-inch steel wheels are wrapped in 5.00-16 front
tires and 7.50-16 rear tires.
