Gateway Classic Cars Tampa is fired up to digitally present this 07
Chevy Trailblazer SS. In 2007, Road & Track called the SS
Trailblazers, "Chariots of Fire," and for good reason. The LS2 6.0l
395hp mill was plucked right out of the Corvette and jammed under
the hood. Round of applause to whoever's idea that was at GM. But
why did Chevrolet throw the legendary SS on this edition of the
Trailblazer anyway? Well consider this. The quarter mile times for
the SS Trailblazer were within a fender of a big block, 4-speed, 69
SS Chevelle and faster than an SS 350 Camaro. And that's with the
a/c on, a car seat in the back, and a full load of groceries. Not
only are they rockets, but the look just nails the bad boy image
Chevrolet wanted to create. This particular SS has been babied and
is bone stock. It literally looks like it just rolled out of
someone's garage in 2007. Before consigning the owner had all the
fluids in the drivetrain flushed and filled. To be almost 20 years
old, this is one highly impressive Trailblazer that you can't
appreciate until you see it yourself. These have a huge following
so you'll have to hurry.
