1973 Nova Custom 2 Door Coupe, 350-4 V-8 Automatic, 95k original miles. Nova Custom used the same 350 V8 that was used in the SS model. The car Vin is 1Y27H3L139041.
I purchased this car 4 years ago from the original owner so I am now the 2nd owner. My original intent was to 100% restore this car but I have not had time to work on it and now we are moving. This is the only reason for selling this car.
The motor has had some work done to it like the 2 Barrel carb has been replaced with a Holly 4 Barrel. I was told that there was larger cam was put in. New Dual Exhaust. The original owner did this work so I am not exactly sure what work has been done.
He did some work on the transmission and also replaced the rear end gears. I have most of the original parts and receipts for the work that has been done so I will try to update this add when I have time to thru the receipts.
I was told that the car was repainted in the early1980’s. My understanding is that this car has been in a shed since 1983 until the mechanical work was done roughly 8-9 years ago.
Some body work could be dome that I was going to do but never got to doing it. The underside, frame, trunk, floorboards and inner wheel wells are all in very impress condition. The interior is in great shape as well. The only thing I can say is that the drivers bucket seat has an area that the stitching that let loose and it appears that the original owner tried to glue it. The carpet, dash (no cracks or discoloration front or in rear window area) The rest of the interior is in great shape other than it needs a good cleaning. All glass is perfect shape.
