This 1984 Jeep CJ-7 is an extremely clean, all steel, lifelong
California Jeep. We bought this particular Jeep from a gentlemen
who owned a machine shop. He rebuilt the engine for a customer and
the customer could not pay so the customer sold the vehicle to him.
The engine has around 1,000 miles on it and this Jeep has a lot of
cool upgrades. The body is extremely clean and straight. It was
repainted once in its original color of Garnet Iridium and the
paint still looks great! It has the Hard Top and Hard doors,
factory bumpers and rocker moldings, and custom built rocker guards
with built in steps. The underside is amazing on this Keep...super
clean and original with some of the original paint still on the
floors and frame. We found no rust issues with this CJ.
The interior is also in excellent condition. It has aftermarket
MasterCraft front bucket seats and the factory rear seat. The
entire interior was removed and the tub was professionally lined.
It has nice original door panels, a center console, and an uncut
dash. It also has the factory roll bar. The headlights, taillights,
brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work.
The horn, windshield wipers and heater all work. The plan was to
add AC at some point so there is a new AC compressor on the engine
and there are a lot of the AC parts to finish it included (see
pics).
Mechanically this Jeep is top notch. It runs excellent and drives
down the road great! The engine is a fully rebuilt 4.2L 258 Inline
6 with a mild cam. Clifford aluminum intake, Holley Carb, ceramic
coated headers with Flowmaster exhaust, HEI ignition, aluminum
valve covers, aluminum radiator, new belts and hoses, new
alternator, new starter, and new guel pump. The engine runs strong.
It has the T5 5 Sped Manual transmission that shifts great with a
strong clutch. It is mated to the Dana 300 transfer case that was
totally gone through and resealed. The 4WD works like it should. It
has a Dana 44 rear axle with 3.31 gears and a Dana 30 front axle
with 3.31 gears. It has a 2 Inch lift kit with HD shackles and new
springs. It is sitting on a set of aftermarket American Racing
Aluminum Wheels with 31 Inch Mud Terrain tires. This is a great
Jeep CJ-7 for a great price!!
