INTRODUCTION: This is a genuine SS 396, built in California. Correct motor and colors.

EXTERIOR: Just repainted in its original code F Marina Blue color. Being a Super Sport it has the dual scoops on the hood, blacked out grille and tailpanel and SS emblems. The trim has been replaced including the rear bumper, emblems, taillights, wheelwell moldings, bowtie mirror etc. The front bumper is very good original. The windshield has been replaced and the convertible top is a nice bright white. The weatherstrips have been replaced. It's rolling on 15 inch rally wheels and Coker Classic radial redline tires.

INTERIOR: I love the matching blue interior. The door panels, armrests, seat upholstery, dash pad and visors have all been replaced. In front of me it has the factory gauges in the dash and the knee knocker tachometer. That radio may look like an original AM, but it is upgraded with modern FM internals. The tunes will play through the molded kick panel speakers. The carpet show some age and it has embroidered mats. The center console has a working clock and the shift indicator is updated for the overdrive. It has original seat belts front and back, they were still optional in 1966! It also has a two spoke deluxe wheel on a tilt column.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a correct 396-325hp motor, suffix EM. Factory Holley intake and Quadrajet carburetor, stock exhaust manifolds, air cleaner and valve covers. It also features power steering with the original remote reservoir and power brakes. Detailed out with GM hoses, clamps and spring clamp battery cables. New horns, squirters are hooked up, original trim tag is still attached. The metal surfaces are neatly painted.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are clean, glossy paint. The weatherstrip and well liner has been replaced. Inside is rock solid metal that's been spatter painted. It has a fifth matching Coker Classic redline and a blue painted rim.

UNDERSIDE: The previous owner claims it was body off restored at one point. The floors appear to be very solid including the braces and inner rockers. The bottom of the car was painted black. The steering and suspension has been gone through, springs and shocks look new at all four corners. The brake system is working properly, e-brake is hooked up. It has dual exhaust with a crossover pipe and stainless mufflers. Looking up at the motor it is clean, fuel pump, starter and canister type oil filter are correct. The transmission is upgraded to a 700R4 overdrive automatic for nice, easy cruising. In back it has a 12 bolt rear end.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you the best cars within reason.

CONCLUSION: You can cruise in confidence knowing you have a real SS396. Cruising will be easy too with power steering and brakes along with the addition of the overdrive trans. Yeah, you will be turning heads too!
