This 1951 Ford Custom has been fully restored and thoughtfully
upgraded, blending timeless postwar styling with performance and
convenience for modern driving. Finished with period-correct
details and tasteful enhancements, it represents the perfect
combination of vintage character and dependable usability.
Under the hood sits a rebuilt 255ci Flathead V8, outfitted with a
3/4 race camshaft, triple new Super carburetors, and an Edelbrock
intake for improved breathing. Offenhauser heads and redesigned
water pumps further enhance performance, while an electronic
distributor and 12-volt alternator bring reliable ignition and
charging. Power is sent through an overdrive transmission, allowing
for smooth highway cruising, and the dual exhaust delivers the
distinctive Flathead rumble that enthusiasts love.
Driving is made easy thanks to power steering, power brakes, and
modern upgrades throughout. Electronic windshield wipers, power
windows, and a remote-control door system add convenience, while a
Dakota Digital speedometer, tachometer, and gauges provide precise
instrumentation. Inside, a CD radio offers modern entertainment
discreetly integrated into the classic cabin.
This Custom rides on chrome rims with center caps wrapped in
American Classic radial whitewall tires, giving it a striking
presence while maintaining vintage flair. The full restoration
ensures that every detail-from the stance to the shine-has been
carefully attended to, making this Ford a showpiece that is also
road-ready.
Whether admired for its historical significance or enjoyed for its
drivability, this 1951 Ford Custom offers the best of both worlds:
a fully restored classic enhanced with reliable performance
upgrades and thoughtful modern touches.
