This VW was a Magazine Car! Finished two tone Super Red and White! Painted by Jim Soffa of Soffa Classics in Evergreen Colorado! They also double-skinned the rear apron to prevent it from burning up with the exhaust heat. The beetle did receive a full restoration, with full engine build, front lowering bean & suspension, Front Disc brakes, custom wheels, and a lot more. It was completed in 2012
Definitely gets a lot of attention! The Beetle is powered by it's built engine using a AS41 case, uni-Tech rods, forged 69mm crankshaft and 90.5mm cylinders to give 1776cc CNC-ported performance heads with 40x35.5mm valves were fitted along with dual 40mm Solex carbs! Full polished exhaust system, aluminum valve covers, electric fuel pump, fan and cooler kit, performance push rods, chrome tinware, and more! It moves really fast! Check out my video! It has always been garage kept and well taken care. All the exterior chromes, trim, latches, bumperettes are all like new. Underneath the floor pans are in great shape. Interior was done by Rickey's Seat Shop in Golden, CO. Full interior meticously done in white viper sports seats, matching door panels, Full Black Velour Headlining (far better than stained white). For sound system it has a combination of Pioneer, Clifford and Rockford Fosgate complements with an ipod connect.
The car has a really nice stance. Not too many made in Oval window with Ragtop! Its pretty rare combo. Recently had a tune up with spark plugs, new tires, new wheels, new side mirrors, and also replaced new gas tank with new fuel lines!
