Introduction: Definition of impressive: envoking admiration through size & quality; grand, imposing, or awesome. In other words it describes this car! Massive size, yet stylish, sexy and sophisticated. The factory black with red leather interior is a stunning combination. We acquired 3 cadillacs from a close friend and serious collector. His cars were his pride and joy, he loved driving them and kept them in top running condition. What an absolute winner!

EXTERIOR: Born factory black! This car was skillfully repainted its original Tuxedo Black just like when it left the factory. It has a glorious reflection and a slick finish. When looking down the side of the body it is nice and straight with smooth contours and crisp lines. All the panels are wonderfully aligned with good gaps that are well above average. When opening the doors it's like swinging a bank vault, they are very heavy but don't sag and literally close themselves with a solid thud that reeks of quality. All the glass is in great shape and the white vinyl top has been replaced. The chrome is all nice and shiny. I'm in love with the front bumper that makes a very bold unspoken statement. The hood ornament is as stylish and graceful as the rest of the car. The tailfins are subtle yet defined at the same time. The taillights are in great shape. You can access a fuel filler by pushing the button in the center of the driver side taillight, how cool is that? Another cool feature is the exhaust that exits through the rear bumper, they really knew how to design them back in the day. It's rolling on extra wide whitewall bias ply tires and 15-in steel rims that are adorned with the original hubcaps which are in great shape.

INTERIOR: Born factory red! The genuine leather upholstery is in excellent condition, very soft and supple. The power front bench seat is more comfortable than my couch at home and it works excellently. The backs of the front bench are also refinished in leather and have really handy pull straps. The rear seat has been reupholstered to match and each side has an ashtray and lighter which is so appropriate for the 1950s. Both of the front door panels have been replaced and are equipped with power window switches too. The dash pad has been replaced and is outfitted with a headlight dimmer for when other cars are coming towards you (unknown working condition). The remainder of the dash has been nicely repainted and all the chrome has a lustrous shine. The steering wheel has been refurbished and looks great. All the lights appear to be working, even inside the glove box. It also comes with the original owner's manual.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Super smooth running 365 V8 making 285 hp. It looks very original but freshened up and even has the correct style air cleaner. It features power steering, power brakes, and an optional oil filter. The battery is properly secured and it has a master cut off switch neatly mounted on the fenderwell. The horns are hooked up. The clutch fan and external oil pump look recently replaced. Under the hood, insulation helps keep the engine quieter than a mouse in slippers. The fenderwells, firewall, and under the hood are all neatly painted black. The original cowl tag is still in place. Overall, this is a very proper and clean engine compartment!

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Huge! Completely lined in fresh red carpet with bound edges. It's also equipped with a brand new factory style full size spare tire that matches the other tires. The underside of the trunk lid and inside the jamb have both been painted slick like the body and the weatherstrip was replaced.

UNDERSIDE: Nice looking underside that has been maintained as needed. All the steering components look to be in good shape and currently work fantastic. The front springs and shocks have previously been replaced and help provide the classic Cadillac ride quality. It does have good rear leaf springs and the back shocks have been replaced. It is equipped with four-wheel power drum brakes that work very well. The dual exhaust system was also replaced at some point and exits through the rear bumper. Looking up at the 365 cubic inch V8 engine. You will see fresh blue paint. The hydramatic overdrive automatic transmission also has nice fresh blue paint and it looks like the linkage was replaced. The rear end is also looking good with fresh black paint. The floors appear to be solid and rust-free with a nice thin undercoating. The x-frame is in great shape with neatly applied black paint.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: These old school Cadillacs are getting much harder to find recently! The new owner can purchase this one with confidence knowing it's a rock solid cruiser that has been loved and cared for and driven with passion for years by its previous owner. What an amazing classic vehicle!
