Late-model street rod pickup trucks can be hard to find, especially
from this era. Finding one that still runs well and is cruise-ready
is even harder. This 1933 Ford Pickup Street Rod is ready for
cruising with a throaty, powerful engine that produces plenty of
horsepower. Between the sharp looks and the deep exhaust note,
you'll turn heads everywhere you go. The Matte Blue Metallic paint
is impossible to miss, and the painted bronze stripe wrapping the
mid-section of the cab and front end breaks up the color
tastefully. The body is all steel, except for the rear fenders,
making this a solid piece of machinery.
The interior is clean and elegant. The dashboard is finished in
bronze and blue, the carpets and seats are grey, and the door
panels are brown. The leather bucket seats are generously sized,
offering comfort for people of all builds with room to spare. A
bronze and black custom steering wheel sits on a tilt-adjustable
steering column, while custom gauges are placed nearby and are easy
to read. Out back, a beautifully finished wooden plank truck bed
contrasts perfectly with the Matte Metallic Blue exterior.
Under the hood, this aggressive 1933 Ford Pickup Street Rod houses
a 289 block that has been thoroughly beefed up with a serious
camshaft and other performance upgrades. While the official
displacement is unknown, it's said to be a 347 stroker build. A
single 4-barrel carburetor feeds the fuel, while an MSD box
provides extra spark to the engine. Power is delivered through a C4
medium-duty 3-speed transmission, paired with an 8.8-inch Ford rear
end to keep the tires spinning. Suspension consists of a Ford front
clip with torsion bars and shocks, while the rear uses a 4-link
setup with coilovers. Famous 15-inch Cragar wheels are bolted on
all four corners, wrapped in 215/65R15 tires. The custom exhaust
system features dual electric cutouts for an open-header setup, or
it can be routed through Flowmaster mufflers for a tamer sound.
