This 2022 Challenger Hellcat is a great example of Dodge’s over-the-top 717hp creation. It has all the performance you’d expect from such a car along with a desirable group of options that pushed the original MSRP to almost $88,000. And with only 11k miles it still looks and feels like new.
You can’t miss this one with its gorgeous Octane Red Pearlcoat paint. It looks great in pictures but is even more impressive in the sun. Additional equipment includes the SRT Black Package along with the optional satin black hood and performance spoiler. The black 20” wheels wear their original 275/40 Pirelli P-Zero tires. Aftermarket features are limited to the popular Hellcat quarter panel vinyl graphics along with tinted windows (we can remove any of this if desired).
The highlight of any Hellcat is the supercharged 6.2L Hemi engine. For 2022 it carries an impressive factory rating of 717 hp and 656 ft-lb of torque which puts it in some very exclusive company. This is followed by the TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission and 3.70 limited slip rear end. Performance goes beyond just the brute force of the drivetrain though. There is a competition suspension with active damping along with Brembo ABS brakes with 6-piston calipers in front. Additional features include configurable drive modes, launch control, stability control, and traction control – all great to have at this power level.
The features continue inside the car. Optional equipment includes the Plus Package which provides heated and ventilated Nappa leather seats with Hellcat logos. There is also the Carbon / Suede Interior Package with a suede headliner and real carbon fiber accents. Other options are the Driver Convenience Group and Harman Kardon Audio Group. The center of the dash houses the Uconnect interface with 8.4” color touch screen that also incorporates navigation and a backup camera. A power sunroof is also present along with all manuals and both keys (black and red).
2022 marks the penultimate year for the Challenger Hellcat. This platform has really left its mark on the performance marketplace and has a good future as a collectible. Further, this example looks amazing and shows very few miles with a clean history while retaining the balance of its 5-year powertrain warranty. There aren’t many better ways to get into a Hellcat in 2025.
