In 1931, the final model year of the Model A before being succeeded
by the Model 18, Ford introduced a luxurious new two-door closed
coupe called the Victoria. Distinguished by its slanted windshield
and "bustle-back" rear end, the Victoria could be had with either
cloth or steel topped form.- Hagerty.com
This 1931 Ford Model A Victoria is featured in Ford Maroon with
Vermilion pinstriping, black fenders with a tan fabric padded roof.
It is powered by a stock 201 cubic inch L head inline 4-cylinder
engine and 3-speed manual transmission.
Throughout the history of this Model A Victoria the exterior body
has only been repainted once in 1980 with the correct single stage
lacquer paint with the original paint still remaining in the door
jambs, engine bay etc.
Previously owned by a MAFCA judge this 1931 Victoria has been shown
at regional and national MAFCA events for decades, with a
long-documented history of high scores. Considered to be one of the
most complete factory original Model A Victoria's still utilizing
its original interior down to the carpets, window shades and pulls,
this car was extensively photographed for an upcoming book
dedicated to the restoration of the Ford Model A Victoria
interiors.
This Model A provides a rare opportunity to purchase a very special
example.
