Classic Car Addict is proud to present this exceptional 1934
Chevrolet Phaeton Custom for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom.
Built to an uncompromising standard, this one-of-a-kind street rod
underwent a comprehensive five-year reconstruction between 2010 and
2015, transforming an already impressive custom into the
show-quality machine it is today. The build is extensively
documented with receipts, photographs, diagrams, and records from
start to finish, offering the next owner an incredible history of
the craftsmanship behind this remarkable Chevrolet.
Interior:
The custom cabin blends luxury with performance, featuring dual
gray leather bench seats complemented by matching door panels and
kick panels. A color-matched dashboard houses a full complement of
AutoMeter Pro-Comp gauges, including a 160-mph speedometer,
10,000-rpm tachometer, oil pressure, water temperature, voltage,
and fuel level. The digital odometer currently displays 3,462 miles
since completion of the build.
Modern conveniences include power windows, remote keyless entry, a
tilt steering column, Lokar floor shifter, and a BOSS Marine
Bluetooth/CD/USB audio system paired with an 800-watt amplifier.
The interior was completely rewired using a Painless Wiring system
and insulated throughout with Dynamat, creating a refined driving
experience that's as comfortable as it is impressive.
Exterior:
The custom Old Chicago fiberglass body has been extensively
modified to improve both appearance and structural integrity.
Finished in stunning 2010 Camaro Jewel Red using premium Sikkens
water-based paint, the body showcases widened rear fenders, widened
running boards, and a reinforced rear deck that enhances the car's
muscular stance. The custom hood features sculpted side cutouts
surrounding a chromed Moroso hood scoop, while a beautifully
crafted Carson-style removable hardtop is upholstered in matching
Mercedes-Benz red cloth, giving the Phaeton an elegant yet
aggressive profile. Every angle reflects the countless hours
invested in creating a truly distinctive street rod.
Engine & Drivetrain:
Power comes from a supercharged GM 454ci big-block Chevrolet V8,
producing an estimated 850+ horsepower. The engine is equipped with
GM high-performance cast-iron cylinder heads, a polished Edelbrock
intake manifold, twin 700 CFM Holley carburetors, a COMP Cams solid
roller valvetrain, and an MSD ignition system. Additional premium
components include a Meziere chrome electric water pump, Moroso
timing cover, Ansen valve covers, and a high-torque mini starter,
creating an engine bay that's as visually impressive as it is
powerful.
Power is delivered through a professionally built Turbo 400
automatic transmission featuring titanium racing gears and a
2,500-rpm stall converter before reaching an independent C4
Corvette rear suspension. Wilwood disc brakes provide outstanding
stopping power, while a Heidts independent front suspension with
QA1 adjustable coilover shocks delivers modern handling
characteristics. Braided stainless-steel hoses, polished hard
lines, and numerous custom-fabricated brackets showcase the
extraordinary attention to detail throughout the chassis.
Chassis & Undercarriage:
The underside of this Chevrolet is a testament to the quality of
its construction. Every component reflects the meticulous attention
to detail invested throughout the build, from the silver-finished
chassis and suspension to the polished stainless-steel exhaust,
braided hoses, and precision-routed hard lines. A Heidts
independent front suspension with QA1 adjustable coilovers, C4
Corvette independent rear suspension, and Wilwood disc brakes
provide modern road manners, while the exceptionally clean
presentation underscores the no-expense-spared nature of this
award-worthy custom.

exceptional level of craftsmanship, this 1934 Chevrolet Phaeton
