Zoom Classic Cars is proud to present this professionally restored 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 327/300Hp. Refinished in factory correct Nassau Blue Metallic (Paint - FF) exterior, white convertible top/interior upgrade from its factory Blue (Trim - BA). Trim tag indicates this is a St Louis built convertible, owner history indicates the car retains its original 327 300hp engine numbers match (PAD correct w/VIN) and original 4 speed manual transmission, the rear differential was previously replaced with period correct alternate. Options and notables on this classic include power disc brakes, power steering, everything functions on the car including headlight motors, lights, gauges, original Delco AM/FM radio and power antennae. The only notable issue is erratic clock functionality. Known history dates back to 1993 when purchased in Illinois with an actual true mileage of 70,898 miles and prior to restoration. In 2003 the car was judged at the Chevy/Vette Fest (Illinois) as part of their Spinner Concourse which produced a score of 884 out of 1000 (report available). Then 2011-2014 the car underwent the majority of restoration mostly performed by D&M Corvettes (Illinois) (invoices available) - work was comprehensive, body stripped & taken down bare, suspension redone, drivetrain freshened, interior work, new white convertible top - attention to detail as the final product showcases (Disc with various photos available). **It was noted during the restoration process (2012) that the odometer had failed and was replaced with an original used unit - the vehicle is currently showing 58,599 miles and has seen limited use since restoration. The car was completed in 2014 and used for shows locally, in 2022 it was brokered for sale by Corvette City (Illinois) and purchased by the current owner in New Jersey. Reproduction Knockoff wheels were added at some point wrapped with IRONMAN 215 70R-15 white wall radials (there is also a set of O/E style bias ply tires included with sale). There is NO hardtop with this car, overall, this classic C2 presents extremely well and runs great - paint work, chrome/trim, gaps, door jamb detail, interior, engine compartment etc. are all excellent.
