and mechanically sophisticated, this 1936 Cadillac Series 80 V-12
Convertible Coupe represents the pinnacle of Cadillac's prewar
innovation. Wearing a striking yellow finish complemented by a
vivid red leather interior, this Fleetwood-bodied convertible
embodies the streamlined luxury and high-society flair that defined
Cadillac during the golden age of coachbuilt motoring. One of just
901 V-12 Cadillacs produced for 1936, this example rides on the
shorter 131-inch wheelbase and is powered by Cadillac's renowned
368 cubic inch overhead-valve V-12 enginedelivering 150 horsepower
with effortless smoothness. Paired with a 3-speed manual
transmission, semi-elliptic leaf springs, and four-wheel hydraulic
drum brakes, the car delivers refined road manners with ample power
for touring. Acquired by the Passport Collection in 2004 and
previously a part of the distinguished Len Immke Collection, the
car received a meticulous 100-point restoration in the early 2000s
and went on to earn both Senior and Premier honors from the Classic
Car Club of America (badge #1641). Today, it remains well-preserved
and recently benefitted from recommissioning in July 2025,
including new brakes, a flushed and serviced cooling system, and
additional mechanical updates. The car is currently awaiting the
next owner's choice of tires to be mounted at the time of the sale,
allowing a personalized touch to complement its period-correct wide
whites and dual enclosed side-mounted spares. Inside, the red
leather cabin offers a bold contrast to the exterior and features
period accessories such as a dash-mounted clock, under-dash stereo,
and a rumble seat for additional passengers. With space for luggage
behind the front bench and thoughtful attention to detail
throughout, it's ready for both concours showings and leisurely
drives. Eligible for prestigious events including the CCCA, AACA,
