Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 2001 Mercedes-Benz CLK430
Convertible. The exterior is finished in Black Opal; a
color-changing metallic that reads black, navy, and turquoise. The
interior features Charcoal leather, which is a welcomed styling
upgrade from the usual Ash Grey. Sold new in Atlanta, this CLK has
spent its life between Georgia and coastal South Carolina vacation
communities.
The interior and exterior present in solid original condition with
normal wear; there are scattered scratches and a few small dings
present. The convertible top is fully operational, in good
condition, and has no known leaks. The leather interior presents
nicely with no dash cracks and only two seam separations on the
front seat bolsters (they have both been patched). The Bose premium
stereo has been modernized with a touchscreen infotainment system
featuring Apple CarPlay and handsfree calling. A/C functional and
blowing cold. Additional features include optional factory Xenon
headlights with washers, heated front seats, and a multi-disc CD
changer.
Under the hood is a 4.3 liter V8 producing 275 horsepower.
Acceleration is impressive and shifting is smooth. The car sounds
great and performs like a luxury sports coupe should; and with
little to no cowl shake. The W208 is peak CLK - a larger
E-Class-type convertible as opposed to its successor that feels
like a C. This CLK proves that you don't need to spend
Mercedes-money to get a top-tier Mercedes experience. Included with
the sale are two keys, the original window sticker, the original
bill of sale, the owners manual, and all included books.
