There's something about a modern Shelby that perfectly balances raw
American muscle with collectability - and this 2010 Ford Mustang
Shelby GT500 (Stock #4546-PHX) is a prime example. Showing just
7,390 actual miles, it's as close as you'll get to owning a time
capsule from Ford's Special Vehicle Team era.
Under the hood sits the legendary 5.4-liter DOHC supercharged V8,
hand-built at Ford's Romeo engine plant. With 540 horsepower, it's
backed by a Tremec 6-speed manual (T56) and upgraded McLeod
twin-disc clutch installed by Brenspeed in 2022 ($4,800 receipt
included). This GT500 was engineered to dominate - and it still
does - with factory Brembo brakes, tight steering, and a dual
exhaust system that produces that unmistakable Shelby growl.
The body wears its original High Performance White paint with
Grabber Blue stripes, and aside from a couple of minor rock chips
and light wheel rash, the finish shows beautifully. The 19-inch
factory alloy wheels still wear the original Goodyear F1 Supercar
tires - a testament to its low use and careful preservation.
Inside, the Ebony leather bucket seats with blue inserts and
embroidered Shelby logos still look new. You'll find power windows,
power mirrors, power driver seat, and the Shaker 500 audio system
with AM/FM/CD/XM/AUX and Bluetooth all in working order. Even small
details like the SRS glovebox tag and steering wheel stitching
remain crisp and factory fresh.
From the undercoated chassis to the untouched engine bay, this car
presents like a near-showroom survivor. If you're looking for a
future collectible that's already rare, meticulously kept, and
blisteringly fast, this GT500 checks every box.
