GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this extremely unique, "1923
Ford T-Street Roadster" for your consideration. This was built with
the idea of the legendary Tyrell P-34 F1 car in mind. Finished in a
clean white exterior over a burgundy interior, this one-of-a-kind
custom build blends classic hot rod styling with Grand Prix/Formula
1-inspired design. Powering this roadster is a 1.3L 2-rotor rotary
engine sourced from a 1974 Mazda, paired with a 3-speed manual
transmission. Designed by Rich Railton of California for
performance and presence, this build features RX3 mufflers, dual
Volkswagen Rabbit radiators, a full independent suspension setup,
and disc brakes at all four corners. The roadster also includes a
powered, adjustable-height front nose cone reminiscent of the
legendary 6-wheel Tyrell P-34 F1 car. Thoughtfully engineered for
taller drivers, it comfortably accommodates those 6 feet and over.
Additional features include functional turn signals, adjustable
headlights, functioning brake lights, and much more. Drive this one
out of our showroom or have us assist with shipping it to you
anywhere in the United States! Don't hesitate to call us with any
questions or for more information.
Originally based on the legendary Ford Model T platform, the
T-bucket and T-street roadsters have been a staple of American hot
rod culture since the 1950s. The 1923 Model T in particular has
long been a favorite starting point for custom builders due to its
lightweight body, availability, and endless styling potential. Over
the decades, builders have reimagined the T-roadster in countless
forms-from drag strip terrors to street-legal showpieces-often
combining vintage styling with modern drivetrains and engineering.
This example takes that tradition a step further by merging
American hot rod spirit with vintage Formula-style innovation,
making it truly one-of-a-kind.
