For nearly twenty years, Dodge hung its hat on the third generation
of the D/W series of trucks. A remarkable run from 1972 through
1993 with a few facelifts along the way and obviously some
mechanical and some comfort changes as well. In 1981, the D-series
was rebadged as the Dodge Ram after Lee Iacocca took charge of a
ailing Chrysler Corporation. This particular truck comes out of
Mississippi and is a very solid unit. It has received some great
attention with many new parts and paint. The drivetrain has been
replaced with a 1993 Magnum 360 and is mated to an automatic. This
truck starts, runs and goes down the road as it should, has a nice
stance and garners attention at every light. Its really nice to see
a capable, good looking truck with out all the bells and whistles.
