1970 Pontiac GTO – PHS DOCS

This is a gorgeous restored 1970 GTO, done in its factory Polar White, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth. Second owner had it for 25 years. I am the third owner. Always garage kept and covered. Five year old restoration. At time of restoration had new weather stripping and window felts. Retains all original softray tinted glass. Side and back glass are in excellent condition. Original front and rear window stainless in excellent condition. New side view mirrors, door handles are original and in excellent condition. Front Endura nose and grills in excellent condition. Original headlight bezels and parking lights in excellent condition. Wheel well and rocker moldings are original in exceptional condition and the original rear bumper has been re-chromed.

Factory red bucket seat interior, original dash in excellent condition – , original instrument cluster – showing 72,000 documented miles. Brand new Alpine AM/FM with blue tooth stereo nicely mounted in glovebox – including remote. It also has amp nicely mounted in trunk. Quad set of gauges and tach nicely mounted under dash. Deluxe steering wheel, all three horn buttons work. New headliner, sail panels and deluxe package shelf, new front and rear door panels; as well as armrest and bases, new front and rear seat covers, deluxe seat belts front and rear with shoulder straps, new carpet and deluxe Pontiac floor mats, new sill plates. Removable after market center console.This is a complete Legendary Auto interior done 5 years ago. 

Everything works including the clock,  wipers, dash lights, highbeam indicator, dome light, windshield washer, wipers, backup lights, etc.. This car was ordered with bucket seats and column shift from the factory. Power steering was added and is factory correct with original parts. Power front disc brakes with booster. 

Under the hood we have a Pontiac Y code 400, which has been professionally rebuilt and blueprinted with less than 5,000 actual miles, bored out to a 407 it produces 444 documented horsepower. Edelbrock aluminum 4 barrel intake, Demon 4 barrel carb with electric choke, chrome valve covers and breather, K&N filters, full MSD ignition with billet distributor, RPM red line governor chip, heavy duty radiator with correct shroud and fan, set of ceramic coated Hooker long tube headers into 2 1/2 inch dual Magnaflow exhaust out the back with correct tips, power front disc brakes, this strong running 400 is backed up with a professionally rebuilt smooth shifting 400 trans, 2800 converter. F41 suspension package with larger front sway bar, rear sway bar and boxed control arms. Brand new inner fender seals, adjustable shocks, springs, ball joints, and bushings, factory posi rear with 355 gear, updated with Auburn posi, new fuel tank and sending unit. Over $15,000 in additional recent upgrades.

Rides on a set of factory Rallye II’s with correct PMD center caps and black dot lug nuts, 235/60 all around. Correct California 1970 Plates with paid up registration. No smog needed. Drives like a dream and moves out like a dragster. A beautiful example of a stock 70 GTO with modified factory original Y code rebuilt costing over $22,000.
