1976 Dodge M882. This is a super cool old pickup that was used as a
Cargo 4x4 in the military for most of its life. It was specially
made as a Dodge M882 based on the W200 truck platform. Being a
truck from 1976 its far from perfect, but is a great running and
driving option for somebody looking for a sweet vintage ride. It's
got a High-Low tranfer case with lockers, 8ft long bed, full
floating rear axle, heavy duty rear suspension, and a pintle hitch
on the back. The body has obviously seen work but it's solid and
rust is minimal for its age. Since owning it all of the parts that
have been installed were in hopes of passing weber county emmisions
regulations or maintaining the vehicle. It now has a new radiator
and hoses, brake master cylinder and power brake booster, new brake
calipers, rotors, shoes, springs, cylinders, fluids, etc. It still
needs new wiper blades, the choke on the carburetor needs some
adjustment, it drips coolant near the timing cover, and while the
tires have lots of tread on them, they're far from new. I have not
been back in to test emissions since beginning work on it. I
imagine with the carburetor, timing, and idle having been adjusted,
and fixing a major vacuum leak in the system, it should do better
at least. Selling because I'm in college now and can't afford gas
for this old girl. Hoping I can find something smaller and newer to
get me by. Feel free to come check it out, shoot me an offer, or
trade me for a daily driver! *I don't know if the odometer has
rolled over, please keep that in mind when considering mileage.
