1951 Chevy 3600 Bought this truck in 2016 from an older gentleman.
He had the truck since 1971. I got it to use as advertising for my
business and short drives around my land. The 216 engine runs good.
The gas tank had rust, so I am running it off an auxiliary gas
tank. The brakes stop the truck, but you have to pump them a bit to
get them to grab. It's fine for what I am using it for, but it
should be updated to work better for road drives. The 4 speed
manual trans on the floor shifts all gears like it should. Clutch
feels good. The floor is solid, and the seat is supportive and
there. It can use re upholstery. I used a seat cover when I played
with it. The tires are older, and weather checked, they hold air
but after a few days the front passenger side goes low. I would
recommend replacing them if driving more. The body is original how
I got it and has awesome patina. You can still make out faintly a
business logo on the door. Pretty cool. The truck in my opinion is
solid overall for being a unmolested survivor. There is a rust spot
on the driver kick panel and some minor small dime size type patina
holes around the body/ inside of box. The truck has a great look in
my opinion. The bed has a sheet of plywood in it as the original
wood was rotted away, worked great for us as we put hay bales and
pumpkins in it for advertising fall time. The glass is foggy, the
driver window is cracked and should be replaced. This should make
someone a neat truck you can play around with while you take it to
whatever level you want. Please Note The Following **Vehicle
