A standout of postwar American luxury, this 1955 Cadillac Series 62
convertible is powered by a factory-correct 331ci OHV V8 engine
paired with a Hydra-Matic 4-speed automatic transmission. This
Cadillac began as a clean, all-original California car and
underwent a professional restoration two years ago by Apex Classics
and Customs in Glendale, AZ. It is finished in its factory-correct
and not-often-seen Ascot Gray Metallic exterior color over a
two-tone dark blue and Seafoam Green leather interior with a white
convertible top. The show-quality undercarriage, engine bay and
refinished brightwork showcase the attention to authenticity and
detail throughout the restoration. Factory-ordered equipment
includes Kelsey-Hayes polished wire wheels and gold Cadillac
V-shaped emblems at the front and rear. The restoration included a
fully rebuilt transmission by Top of The Hill Performance in
California, new brakes, full axle service (including replacement of
rear axle seals), and a complete engine tune and service.
Additional features include power steering, power brakes, power
windows, power convertible top and power antenna. All chrome and
stainless-steel components were refinished. This Cadillac is a
multiple-award-winner, including Best Convertible at the Carmel
Foundation's Choice Awards and honors at the Concours on the Avenue
during Carmel Car Week. ** PREVIEW
