This custom 1964 Chevrolet C10 pickup is powered by a 540ci
big-block V8 engine featuring a Callies crank and rods, Comp Cams
roller cam, Rehr-Morrison aluminum heads with extensive port work,
Jesel roller rockers, Johnson roller lifters, a BDS 10-71 blower,
Enderle fuel injection and a serpentine pulley system. The engine
utilizes custom ceramic-coated headers and a fully chromed exhaust
system. Power is sent to a built 700R4 manual valve-body
transmission with a 2,000-stall torque converter and a Ford 9-inch
rear housing with Yukon 33-spline axles, Eaton posi-traction, and
4.11 gears. Braking is handled by Wilwood components featuring
12-inch rotors and 4-piston calipers up front and 6-piston calipers
in the rear. QA1 shocks are mounted at all four corners. The stock
frame was fully boxed, reinforced, fitted with a Jim Meyer Racing
double-A frame front suspension, and painted to match the body. The
body was media-blasted and smoothed, with modifications that
included shaved door handles and rain gutters, glued-in front and
rear windows, one-piece door glass, custom hood clearance for the
injection hat, smoothed hood underside, and bed seam smoothing with
a custom lower valance and Cadillac taillights. The bed floor is
constructed of Sapele wood finished with multiple coats of
polyurethane. The truck rides on Foose Impala wheels measuring 18x9
in front and 20x12 in the rear with Mickey Thompson Street Radials.
Finished in a custom-mixed Candy Apple Red over a silver base, the
C10 also features a fully custom hand-built leather interior by
Craig Renn Interiors in Clovis, CA, using five high-grade hides.
The cabin includes Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air climate
control and a billet leather-wrapped steering wheel. ** PREVIEW
