This custom 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is powered by a Mast
Motorsports 6.8-liter 416ci LS3 V8 engine with CVF accessory drive
pulleys, mated to a TREMEC T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission
with a QT bellhousing, Hurst White Lightning shifter and a
hydraulic clutch. It is equipped with a Borla exhaust without
catalytic converters and has remote-controlled cutouts. On the
front is a Detroit Speed subframe with power steering and DSE
adjustable shocks. On the rear is a Speedtech Performance torque
arm with Viking adjustable shocks and a 9-inch Currie Ford rear end
with 3.73 gears. This Z/28 also features solid body bushings and a
fully welded-in roll cage front to rear. Stopping power is provided
by Wilwood Superlite brakes, 6-piston in the front and 4-piston in
the rear. There are also DSE mini-tubs in the rear, and the car
rides on Forgeline ZX3 wheels (19x12 front and 18x10 rear) finished
off with Hankook Ventus Evo V12 tires. This was rotisserie build
was completed in 2025 and the car has been driven approximately 880
miles since completion. Everything was touched, down to the last
bolt. Brackets are powder-coated and Raptor bed liner was used
under the car and within the engine bay. Body modifications include
a carbon-fiber anvil bulge engine hood, C5 Corvette mirrors,
fabricated vents welded in the fenders, lower fender welded to
main, phantom front side markers, modified rear spoiler, and
flush-mount glass by Fesler Auto front and rear. The custom
interior consists of black leather Sparco front seats and
custom-fabricated rears resembling mini bucket seats. It is also
equipped with a tilt steering column with a quick-release Sparco
steering wheel, Dakota Digital HDX gauges and a rear-view backup
camera. There is a Vintage Air climate-control system, Sparco
five-point harnesses and power windows. Other amenities include a
Kenwood head unit that is SiriusXM, iPod and Bluetooth compatible,
as well as hands-free phone capability, all coupled with Rockford
Fosgate speakers and amp. Key and momentary switches under the
center console lid control the start, Halo lights and e-brake, with
one button remaining unused. The trunk, finished in leather and
carpet, houses the amp and subwoofer. The battery is relocated to
the right rear with a shutoff. The flush-mounted glass is not
compatible with the factory wiper arms, which are not currently
installed (but the motors and controls are still present). The
paint is Porsche Dark Blue Metallic and is protected by clear film
on the front, hood and side mirrors. ** PREVIEW
