This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS was custom-restored and is powered
by a 454ci V8 engine mated to TH400 automatic transmission with a
Gear Vendors under/overdrive and a Currie Ford 9-inch rear end. The
engine is Chevrolet Performance's most economical big-block crate
engine with a cast-iron cylinder block, four-bolt mains, and forged
steel rods and crankshaft. It also features a hydraulic
roller-style camshaft with .510-inch/.540 lift and forged aluminum
pistons. The engine breathes out of ceramic-coated Hooker
competition headers with a 3-inch ceramic exhaust. Stopping power
is provide by LEED chrome brake master cylinder and brake booster
combos, as well as Wilwood disc brakes with a rear parking brake.
It is also equipped with a chrome high-amp alternator, a Vintage
Air system hidden behind the dash and firewall, power steering,
oversized radiator, Edelbrock 8854 Victor Series aluminum
high-performance water pumps and a Chevrolet Performance intake
manifold. It sits on a high-performance Hotchkis sport suspension
1901R lowering coil springs, coilover front shocks and 4-link rear,
and 16- and 18-inch Billet Specialties Fast Lane wheels. This car
is finished in a Viper Red paint over a new black interior with a
horseshoe shifter, Ididit tilt column, Flaming River steering wheel
