This 1972 De Tomaso Pantera is powered by a 351ci Ford Cleveland V8
engine paired with a 5-speed ZF manual transaxle and is finished in
Ford GT Triple Yellow over a black leather interior. Originally
delivered from the factory in yellow, the car was acquired by the
current owner in 2017 and underwent a ground-up restoration
performed by PI Motorsports in Orange, CA, from 2018 to 2022. The
restoration included a full rebuild of the original engine by
Greulich Engine Machining & Custom Engines and is now fitted with
an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, polished Holley 850
carburetor and MSD ignition system. Cooling upgrades include a
Fluidyne radiator, dual 14-inch fans and stainless-steel cooling
tubes. Additional upgrades include Wilwood brakes, a Vintage Air
system, polished Campagnolo-style wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport
tires (225/45-17 front, 335/35-17 rear), and a rebuilt and polished
ZF transaxle. The suspension features new bushings, half shafts,
Street Pro Plus dual-adjustable shocks and a new rack & pinion
steering system. The custom interior features lowered leather
seats, Crow cam-lock harnesses, a harness bar, Pantera floor mats,
and a three-spoke steering wheel framing a 200-mph speedometer and
8,000-rpm tachometer. Additional features include auxiliary gauges,
an Optima battery, polished stainless firewall and gas tank cover,
and a fully coated Sermatech exhaust system. All electrical
components were rebuilt or replaced, including power windows,
headlight buckets, wipers, lights and switches. This car is offered
with a Deluxe Marti Report, original magnesium wheels and engine
luggage bucket. ** PREVIEW
