This custom 1968 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by a 406ci V8 engine
built by White Performance Machine using a Dart 400 block,
featuring an 8-quart oil pan, forged Scat crankshaft, Mahle
flat-top pistons, Eagle connecting rods, aluminum heads, roller
camshaft, roller rockers, a rocker stud girdle, guide plates,
double-roller timing chain and ARP studs throughout. The engine is
topped with an Edelbrock ProFlo EFI system, Edelbrock distributor,
MSD coil and a 3.5-inch stainless black powder-coated cold-air
intake. Exhaust flows through Doug's ceramic-coated headers into
Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers with an H-pipe. Power is sent through
a 2004R automatic transmission featuring Raybestos clutches, a mild
shift kit, 2,200-rpm stall converter and Lokar kickdown cable. The
Be Cool aluminum radiator is paired with a fan shroud and three
electric fans: dual Perma-Cool 10-inch 2,350-cfm units for the
engine and a 1,500-cfm fan for the air-conditioning condenser. An
integrated transmission cooler is also included. The front
suspension features a QA1 fully adjustable coilover system with
billet adjustable shocks, big-block springs, HD sway bar and
tubular control arms. The rear is supported by multi-leaf springs,
Bilstein shocks and CalTracs adjustable traction bars. The chassis
is reinforced with Hotchkis subframe connectors. Stopping power is
provided by CPP four-wheel disc brakes controlled by a Wilwood
master cylinder, vacuum booster and proportioning valve. The
vehicle rides on Billet Specialties wheels, 17-inch front and
18-inch rear, and uses an 8.2-inch 10-bolt rear differential with
300M 28-spline axle shafts, Yukon posi-traction carrier and
Richmond 3.73 gears. The fuel system features a FiTech 18-gallon
tank, in-tank 440-lph pump, GM 0-90 ohm sending unit, rear-mounted
43 PSI return-style regulator, -8 AN fuel lines and an LS-style
in-line filter with quick connects. The interior features Dakota
Digital analog-style gauges, Lokar 4-speed automatic shifter,
Classic Auto air conditioning, sound-deadening 80mil insulation,
Retro Manufacturing head unit with automatic antenna, billet
steering wheel and LED lighting throughout, including LED
headlights. Electrical upgrades include an American Autowire
blade-style harness, 120-amp alternator, Genesis Off-Road
dual-battery isolator with in-cab controller and trunk-mounted dual
Optima batteries. Additional exterior features include a matching
trunk and door locks. ** PREVIEW
