1969 BMW 2500. First full model year of the new six E3 sedan. The
2500 was the predecessor to the beloved Bavaria. This example was a
one owner barn find in March of 2016. I purchased this car from the
original owner's son who was in His eighties. It was complete with
all the trim and original tool kit. I stripped it down and applied
a preservation coat of paint, ( not perfect but decent). I also
repaired the majority of the rusted area's, and applied chassis
saver to these area's as well. I upholsterer the seat's, The
original Zenith Solex carburetors have been upgraded to Weber down
draft's. I have all the original part's. The ignition has been
converted to electronic with a Pertronix kit. The engine and
transmission are largely untouched, new drive shaft and hanger
bearing. All the brakes have been completely gone through. New
flexible lines, pad's and shoes all around. These car's were among
the first ever to have dual brake circuit's to the front brake's.
This car can be driven anywhere right now. I have poured much love,
labor and cash into this beautiful car. I have many additional
accessories, very nice 5 spoke 16' Bmw rim's with spacers. NOS rear
shock's. The car had 92000 mile's on the odometer when I got it,
and now boast's just over 3000 as it is only a 5 digit odometer. I
have installed a 4 channel stereo system, complete with 400w amp
and crossover's, all mounted in the boot. Please Note The Following
