This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS has been owned by the seller for
over 25 years and is offered as a non-running project accompanied
by more than $25,000 in new parts, most of which remain in their
original packaging. The car retains a solid frame and original
floors, with noted sheet-metal needs including a panel above the
trunk pan and a patch panel on the passenger quarter. The car is
equipped with a rebuilt 468ci big block (454, .060 over) backed by
a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. The engine is installed but
currently fitted with an incorrect marine oil pan and an incorrect
camshaft. The rear end is removed from the car. Drivetrain &
Mechanical Components The rebuilt 468ci big block is based on a
two-bolt main GM block. Included components consist of SS fuel
lines, brake lines, transmission lines, a finned aluminum
transmission pan, ceramic-coated Hooker headers, and a complete
Flowmaster exhaust system with 50-series stainless mufflers. A new
polished stainless fuel tank and a 4-core aluminum radiator are
included. The A/C system is incomplete and will require a condenser
and heater core. Interior Components The car comes with extensive
new interior parts, including front and rear seat skins, new
interior door panels, rear package tray, dash pad, new stock
gauges, and speakers for the front kick panels along with a dual
center-dash speaker. A new stock tilt column and padded leather
steering wheel are included. Missing interior items include the
headliner, carpet, and seat foam. Exterior & Additional Parts Seven
new Torque Thrust D wheels are included, along with new key
cylinders, bumper boys bumpers, and an aluminum racing jack. Many
additional new components are included but not installed. Body &
Condition The frame is described as excellent. The floors are solid
and do not require repair. Sheet-metal needs include a panel above
the trunk pan and a patch panel on the passenger-side quarter. The
car is not running and is offered as a project with the majority of
